Having friendships with members from FUMC was the beginning of our search for a church home.  The greatest directional impact was through listening to the Sunday morning radio broadcast teachings by former Directing Pastor, Rev. George Morris.  When Dr. Timothy Bias placed Rev. Morris as Directing Pastor Pastor, we continued to listen to the FUMC Sunday morning worship on the radio.  God used the messages given by Dr. Bias during a difficult time in my life.  The warm, friendly welcoming atmosphere of this congregation soon convinced us we wanted to be part of this family of believers. 

We attend the traditional and contemporary worship services, finding both to be transformational.  FUMC provides numerous opportunities to share the love of Jesus with others.  We are now connected with other believers through small group Bible studies, Men’s Gatherings, Discipleship Training, Sunday school and the Alpha Course.  Possibilities for service are numerous at our church, giving us joy as we help with landscaping, the Loaves & Fish ministry, and Bear Buddies at Irving School.   

God is directing FUMC and we are delighted to be a part of His followers.
