Resources - Library

How can the Peoria FUMC library assist you in your spiritual journey?

About the Library

Our library is located in Room 107 on the first floor of the Perry Building just off the elevator hallway. Renovated and expanded in January 2005, it offers over 6,000 items to all persons of the congregation.

The library has a comprehensive collection of materials for leisurely reading and research. It houses Christian fiction and non-fiction books, and reference books such as Bible histories, commentaries, and concordances. Other collections include books on tape, large print books, music CDs, sermon tapes and CDs, videos, children and youth books and a large selection of DVD recordings from the Church Communications Network (CCN). Small groups and Sunday School classes utilize library material for group study

Library Hours

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Monday, Wednesday & Friday
7:45 a.m. - 12:00 noon Sunday

Other times may be arranged by contacting the church office at 673-3641.

Donations and Memorials

Christian books, CDs, etc. are welcome as donations. In addition, memorial funds may be designated for the library to purchase materials and furniture. Books and other items may also be given in honor of a special occasion, such as a wedding or anniversary. Each item is plated to acknowledge the honoree and donor.
